Proactive Public Policy and reimbursement inclusion:

  • Monitor the Michigan Board of Counseling and other state Profession Boards to protect against threats to our LPC/LLPC license.
  • Collaborate with the Michigan Counseling Association on state legislative issues.
  • Support efforts for inclusion in Medicare on the national level. We work closely with AMHCA and Michigan members of the US House and US Senate in this effort.

  • We provide Regional networking meetings across Michigan including breakfast, plus featured speakers on relevant topics. They are held on Saturday mornings. You can sponsor one in your community upon request. We will supply the speakers.

  • MMHCA Newsletter Lifelines covers topics of interest and lists up-coming functions. Plus free ad options.
