Vision Statement
MMHCA Values
MMHCA believes in earning and maintaining a strong image and reputation among all our stakeholders – our members, our communities, our elected officials, and our healthcare partners. Our benefits and services will only be as good as our current and prospective members perceive them. For this reason, we will incorporate our values into messages and actions that we sincerely believe in. We will adhere to these values as a means to establish trust and a confidence in our role as a vital partner.

We believe in the following things:

Integrity
The things we do will accurately reflect what we say. We will state our positions and agendas clearly and confidently. We will be consistent and keep our commitments.

Altruism
As a profession that embraces healing for the individuals that we see, we will apply this healing focus to our involvement in the community. We will identify ways to become active in our communities to bring healing and wholeness to them. By being a visible force in our communities, we will promote mental health for the general public. We will bring mental health awareness to the fore in the community activities we participate in.

We will be focused in our support and will communicate our positions clearly and consistently. We will be steadfast where we believe we are right, regardless of whether our stance represents the conventional view.

Vision
We will take time to pause to envision a future for our state and local regions as it should be. We will create plans and seek collaborations that help make our vision reality. We will communicate our vision clearly, and empower others to act in order to achieve results.
