Mission Statement:    The mission of the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association is to develop and empower the mental health counseling profession and promote mental health for the community.
The Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association web site is the source for information and news about Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) who provide mental health counseling services in Michigan. MMHCA is the state chapter of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and an independently operating division of the Michigan Counseling Association.
MMHCA is dedicated to maintaining high standards of ethical practice, educating the general public about mental health issues, advocating for the profession of Mental Health Counseling, and to provide professional development training for Licensed Professional Counselors.
